Artist’s Date
I went to “Lineaments” at the ancagallery in Dickson. This was an exhibition by local artists Stephanie Scroope and Jay Kochel. It included several interesting and striking portraits.
Reflections
The theme of Week 12 is “Recovering a Sense of Faith”.
One of the tasks poses the question: “Honestly, what would you most like to create?”
The word ‘honestly’ here suggests the possibility that we may have ambitions (perhaps inspired by artists we respect and admire) that don’t match what we really want to do. Sorting out our answer to this question may take a few attempts. Getting in touch with our ‘inner compass’ (as mentioned in the section for Week 3) may help track down the best answers to this question.
